We have taken advantage of 2021 to completely modernize the Empordà Golf Club and turn it, not only into one of the most emblematic golf settings in Spain, but also into one of the main 36-hole golf destinations in Europe.

We have made a considerable investment to remodel all the facilities, including the two 18-hole golf courses, the 86-room hotel, and the wellness facilities.

At the heart of the Empordà Golf Resort are its magnificent championship courses – the Empordà Dunes and the Empordà Forest – designed by Robert von Hagge, a globally recognized architect. This was his first creation in Spain, and while both layouts belong to the same architect, that's where the similarities between these two courses end, as each presents different challenges.

Adjacent to the golf courses is the new Empordà hotel, which boasts 86 rooms and suites, all designed with a contemporary style that promotes the rest and relaxation of guests.

Golf is just one of the activities available during your stay at the resort. Guests can also go sailing, cycling, rent a boat, scuba dive, horseback ride, kayak or paddleboard, practice yoga, and attend training classes.

A leading golf resort on the Costa Brava is looking for a Receptionist to deliver exceptional customer service.

What are we looking for?
We are seeking a well-presented, highly organized individual capable of managing a high-demand work environment. Flexibility, self-control, and a proactive attitude are key qualities for this role.



Strong communication skills are essential to identify and meet our guests’ needs, even in challenging situations. We also value commercial awareness and the ability to promote our offers, maximizing each guest’s experience.

Main Responsibilities:

- Welcome members and players, providing a warm and professional reception.
- Handle phone calls and manage email communication, ensuring prompt and effective responses.
- Oversee the booking schedule, ensuring efficient management of occupancy and availability.
- Provide detailed information about the resort’s services, rates, events, and local recommendations for attractions, routes, and restaurants.
- Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Manage the resort shop daily, including inventory control and sales promotion.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in reception or customer service, preferably in the hospitality or golf sector.
- Languages: Spanish, Catalan, English, and French.
- Driving licence and own vehicle.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with golf management software, especially Golfmanager, will be valued.
