Join Our Team at the Norman Foster Foundation in Madrid
The Archive and Library Unit of the Norman Foster Foundation (NFF) is pleased to
announce that it currently has a position available. This is a full-time role as part of a
dedicated team which oversees the cataloguing, digitisation, maintenance and
dissemination of a growing architectural collection of integral significance.
Established in 2015, the NFF Archive holds materials created by Norman Foster over
the six decades of his professional career, amounting to almost 120,000 individual
items across a diverse range of media.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Introduce data into the database and collaborate in cataloguing tasks.
- Assist in digitisation projects.
- Maintain and help develop the NFF Library.
- Work on the Archive’s dissemination initiatives.
- Collaborate on different facets of exhibition projects.
- General assistance in maintenance tasks and highlighting the relevance of the Archive.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or demonstrable experience in archival collections and/or data management.
- Experience working in collections management software programmes.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Rigorous attention to detail.
- An interest in contemporary art and architectural design is desirable.
