This role will act as the operational bridge between Technology, Product and Data teams and key control functions including Privacy, Legal, Information Security and Third-Party Risk. /p pThe successful candidate will drive the governance and operational oversight of AI technologies, helping embed privacy, ethical and regulatory controls across software development, AI solutions and third-party SaaS platforms. The role will also play a key part in improving and automating governance processes, reducing manual effort and enabling faster, risk-based decision making. /p pbKey Responsibilities /b /p pbAI Governance Operational Oversight /b /p ul liLead and enhance AI governance intake processes covering both internally developed AI solutions and third-party AI tools. /li liEnsure governance, privacy and risk controls are embedded into technology delivery processes and software development lifecycles. /li liAct as a central point of coordination between engineering, product, legal, privacy and security teams. /li liMaintain oversight of AI assets, data flows, model inventories and third-party AI deployments across the organisation. /li /ul pbGovernance Automation Process Improvement /b /p ul liDrive the automation of governance and risk management processes where possible. /li liDevelop scalable approaches for intake, review, risk assessment and compliance monitoring. /liliImprove workflow efficiency by reducing administrative burdens and enabling teams to focus on higher-risk activities.



/li liSupport the implementation of automated controls, policy checks and governance reporting mechanisms. /li /ul pbPrivacy Regulatory Advisory /b /p ul liTranslate privacy and regulatory requirements into practical technical controls and development standards. /li liProvide guidance on data protection considerations within AI and analytics solutions. /li liSupport privacy impact assessments and technical risk reviews for AI-related use cases. /li liAdvise teams on responsible AI deployment, data minimisation, governance controls and privacy-by-design principles. /li /ul pbThird-Party Risk Vendor Governance /b /p ul liPartner with vendor management and risk functions to assess AI suppliers and technology providers. /li liReview vendor security, privacy and governance controls. /li liSupport governance reviews relating to AI platforms, cloud services and SaaS solutions. /li liEnsure third-party AI deployments align with organisational risk and compliance standards. /li /ul pbCandidate Profile /b /p pWe are looking for professionals who can bridge the gap between technology delivery, risk management and regulatory compliance. /p pKey requirements include: /p ul liExperience operating within a CIO, technology risk, governance or digital transformation environment.
