We are seeking a Head of Transport and Logistic Services to join a diverse and dynamic Supply Chain team within Procurement. This role will shape the future of our products and processes through innovation, product consolidation, and continuous performance improvement. Mission
As Head of Transport and Logistic Services you will manage and challenge physical logistics activities on quality, time, and cost. You will integrate all stakeholders—service providers, procurement operations, operations engineering & planning—to oversee the complete physical logistics process from unloading parts in the general warehouse to delivery at points of use or final customers.
Responsibilities

2. Manage the physical logistics activities

- Ensure end‑to‑end logistics performance & improvement through KPI implementation and control (onTime, onCost, onQuality).
- Apply Airbus Crisa logistics processes, rules, and policies to goods incoming, inspection, and kitting.
- Drive issue solving with a quick & simple alert/escalation process and participate in SQCDPs or operational routines from Ops.
- Propose and drive local, non‑disruptive, short‑term improvement initiatives and share experience via the Logistics Service Managers network.
- Contribute to End‑to‑End Logistics Solutions optimisation and surface optimisation.
- Secure that standard distribution means are of the right quality and quantity.
- Contribute to infrastructure evolution and surface management.
- Assess logistics impacts in case of short and medium‑term planning changes.
- Manage Logistics Provider (LP) contract compliance and subcontractor activities

- Ensure correct contract application by the provider and Airbus, budget compliance, and savings.
- Create, challenge, and validate operational scope change requests, work specifications, ad‑hoc service requests, and claims.
- Support scope change requests within projects.
- Perform technical negotiations on unit price, volumes, & forecasts.
- Facilitate harmonised and agile contract governance to deliver services on time, on quality, and on cost.
- Develop and deploy ways of working and training to support operations in contract management.
- Calculate and monitor logistics budget in interface with Finance.
- Ensure alignment of logistics operations with internal stakeholder processes and requirements to secure logistics performance

- Implement and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal stakeholders.
- Anticipate, understand, and challenge internal stakeholders’ requests, ensuring implementation of changes.
- Implement risk management with internal stakeholders and Logistics Provider, perform root‑cause analysis, and manage mitigation plans. Manage compliance to regulatory and safety obligations.

- Be accountable for all topics related to Airworthiness Authorities, Quality, Export Control, Environment, Health & Safety, and Dangerous Goods within logistics business execution.
- Contribute to corporate audits and industrial maturity.
- Plan, prepare,
and run audits with quality and implement actions to close findings.
