ppWe are looking for a bDatabase Developer /b with deep expertise in bMicrosoft SQL Server and T-SQL /b who also enjoys managing and optimizing database environments. This hybrid role combines hands-on database development with SQL Server administration, allowing you to design high‑performing SQL solutions while ensuring the stability, security, and reliability of our Microsoft SQL Server–based data warehouse platform. /p pYou will work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and application developers to develop efficient database solutions, optimize complex SQL workloads, and maintain production SQL Server environments. /p pbLocation: /b Slovakia (Employee contract or B2B for foreigners from other EU countries) /p pbSalary: /b Employee contract from b2,700 EUR gross/month /b (depending on seniority) or B2B. We are open to discussing compensation based on your experience. /p pbPlease note that this position is based in Europe. /b /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and optimize complex bT‑SQL /b solutions (stored procedures, functions, views, scripts) for data warehouse. /li liImprove database performance through query tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and SQL Server optimization. /li liAdminister and maintain bMicrosoft SQL Server /b, including SSIS, SSAS, database security, monitoring, backup/recovery, patching, and capacity planning.
/li liEnsure high availability, reliability, and operational excellence through proactive monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning. /li liCollaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, and Business Analysts to design scalable database solutions and promote SQL Server best practices. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liStrong hands‑on experience with bMicrosoft SQL Server /b development and administration. /li liAdvanced bT‑SQL /b skills (stored procedures, functions, views, CTEs, window functions, transactions, error handling, set‑based programming). /li liExperience with SQL performance tuning, including execution plan analysis, query optimization, indexing, statistics, blocking/deadlock resolution, and tempdb optimization. /li liExperience supporting bdata warehouse, BI, or analytical /b workloads. /li liSolid knowledge of SQL Server security, backup recovery, maintenance, and bWindows Server /b fundamentals. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience with bSSIS /b, bSSAS /b, and Azure SQL (Managed Instance or SQL Server on Azure VMs). /li liFamiliarity with bPower BI /b, CI/CD for databases, PowerShell, or SQL Server automation. /li liExperience working in Agile environments. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
