ppThe Head of Legal is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's legal and regulatory requirements across its operations in France, the UK, Poland, and Spain. This position is hybrid, with 3 days a week in the Barcelona office, and reports to the VP of Finance based in Paris. /p h3Legal Oversight Compliance /h3 ul liProvide expert legal advice on employment, commercial, litigation, corporate, and regulatory matters across the organization. /li liEnsure compliance with national and international laws, including employment laws, data privacy regulations, and corporate governance. /li liDevelop and maintain internal legal policies, ensuring they align with best practices and industry standards. /li liMonitor legal and regulatory changes, advising leadership on necessary adjustments to policies and operations. /li /ul h3Risk Management Dispute Resolution /h3 ul liIdentify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. /li liOversee any legal disputes, investigations, and litigation, working closely with external legal counsel in each jurisdiction where Stuart operates. /li liSupport internal teams in resolving employment law issues, compliance concerns, and corporate governance matters. /li /ul h3Corporate Governance Ethics /h3 ul liAdvise on governance matters, ensuring the company adheres to legal and ethical standards. /li liSupport board and executive leadership with legal insights related to corporate decisions and policies. /li liConduct internal legal audits and implement best practices to strengthen regulatory compliance. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Collaboration Communication /h3 ul liWork closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to align legal strategies with business needs. /li liCommunicate legal policies and updates effectively to senior management and employees. /li liAct as a liaison with external legal counsel, government agencies, and industry bodies when required. Manage the relationship with the external Data Protection Officer.



/li /ul h3Contract Management Negotiation Oversight /h3 ul liDraft, review, and negotiate French contracts, including employment agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and service‑level agreements.
