You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial information, supporting sound business decisions, and driving operational excellence through strong partnerships with local finance teams, shared services and integral stakeholders. In this role you will help simplify complexity, strengthen financial controls and contribute to the transformation of Finance across Western Europe. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead finance operations across multiple countries, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and timely financial close activities. /liliMaintain strong governance and control environments, ensuring readiness for internal and external audits and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. /liliPartner with shared services and local finance teams to deliver high‑quality finance operations and continuously improve efficiency, consistency and service levels. /liliProvide expert guidance on accounting, reporting, tax, treasury and regulatory matters to senior Finance leaders and business stakeholders. /liliDrive finance transformation initiatives, including process harmonization, digitalisation, automation and system implementations across the region. /liliLead, develop and inspire a diverse team of finance professionals, fostering collaboration, continuous learning and accountability. /liliContribute to strategic initiatives such as business integrations, organisational changes and performance improvement programmes.



/li /ulh3Main Responsibilities /h3ulliEnsure the accuracy, completeness and compliance of financial statements and statutory reporting across all countries and legal entities within scope. /liliOversee monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, ensuring the delivery of reliable financial information for internal and external reporting. /liliLead relationships with auditors, tax authorities and regulatory bodies, ensuring effective coordination and timely resolution of issues. /liliMaintain a strong internal control framework and promote compliance with accounting policies, governance standards and risk management requirements. /liliPartner with business and Finance stakeholders to support strategic decision‑making through financial analysis, insights and technical expertise. /liliDrive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, systems and operating models to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. /liliBuild and develop high‑performing teams while fostering an inclusive culture aligned with Opella values and behaviours. /li /ulh3About You /h3ulliSignificant experience leading finance operations, accounting, audit or financial reporting activities within an international and multi‑country environment. /liliStrong knowledge of financial accounting, statutory reporting, internal controls and regulatory compliance, including IFRS and local accounting requirements.
