ph3Job Description /h3 pAn opportunity for a Materials Processes Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Materials Process Department (TADAP3, MP Development) as part of Airframe organization. /p pThe departament is in charge of Materials and Processes (Composites, Metals, Surface Treatments, Paints, Sealants and Elastomeric Technologies) with respect to development and design of solutions, materials qualifications, processes control, testing and failure analysis. /p pThe jobholder's background should have a good balance between a high technical expertise in MP projects, materials and associated processes in general and some managerial skills. /p h3RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liMaterials and Processes Development: Lead the research, development, and optimization of composite materials, metals, surface treatments, paints, sealants, and elastomeric technologies. /li liSpecifications and Qualifications: Develop and manage technical specifications and qualifications for materials and processes for military aircraft and related products. /li liTechnical Support: Advise the design, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, and quality departments on material-related queries, concessions, etc. /li liRepresentation and Leadership: Represent TADAP3 in project meetings, MFT's, and task groups. Lead the development of process specifications and technical notes under the control of ADS SAU. /li liTest Plans Definition: Define test plans for RT, design, and development of new technologies and materials. /li liFailure Analysis: Conduct failure analysis for the assigned scope. /li liSupport to Services and Industrial Environment: Provide technical support to services, CML, and the industrial environment. /li /ul h3SKILLS /h3 pIs your profile aligned to the following list of skills? /p ul liEducation:



Degree in Engineering or Science. A Master's degree in Engineering or Science is highly valued. /li liExperience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials and processes, with a comprehensive understanding of appropriate test methods. /li liLanguages: Advanced level of English and Spanish (both written spoken).
