ppbWho are we what are we looking for: /bModern Adventure Pro Cycling is a UCI Men’s ProTeam that began competing on the world stage in 2026. Our mission is to help shape the future of American cycling by recruiting and developing top U.S. talent and providing them with the support system that they need to thrive. An integral part of that support system is the bike mechanic . They are responsible for building and maintaining the team’s fleet of bikes - making sure they are fast, safe tuned to each rider’s needs. As a team, we believe that success is about more than just results. It’s about joy in the process, strength in the collective and riding (or supporting) with purpose, grit and gratitude. We are looking for someone who is game to help us make our definition of success a reality. Someone with a “can do” attitude that is resilient, methodical, precise and who will contribute to a joyous work environment. /p pbWhat to expect: /b Up to 180 working days per year. The contract is for November 1, 2026-October 31, 2027. These working days may be spent… /p ulliBuilding and maintaining bikes at team headquarters (HQ) in Girona, Spain. /li liBike fitting - making adjustments to bikes based on rider feedback. /li liPacking before races and unpacking and cleaning after races at HQ. /li liDriving a team vehicle across Europe to and from races. /li liFlying internationally with a train of bike bags.
/li liRiding in a race car to provide mechanical support to riders in a race. /li liPerforming any myriad of tasks during a race like inflating tires, safety checks, loading roof racks with spare bikes and trunks with spare wheels, preparing a portable toolbag and riding along in the race car in case of mechanical issues (wheel swaps, bike swaps, on-the-fly adjustments to bikes). /li liCleaning bikes and vehicles post-race. /li liYou must be prepared to work up to 14 consecutive days (stage races or training camps). /li /ul pbTechnical skills you must have: /b /p ulliAt least 3 years experience working as a bike mechanic. /li liEuropean driving license minimum category C. /li liThe team language is English.
