ph3Job Overview /h3 pA position as Structural Designer has arisen within Airbus Defence Space. The successful candidate will join the Aerostructures Design area and will be integrated into the structural design team, applying cutting‑edge technologies in composite structures and state‑of‑the‑art 3D modelling procedures for aeronautical design with 3DExperience. The area is responsible for the structural design and integration of major airframe components such as EUROMALE and Dassault Falcon 10X empennages, HURJET aircraft modifications for Spanish Air Force, and structural design modifications and sustainment of other aerostructure projects in production and service phases such as Falcon 7X/8X horizontal tail plane. The department also prepares technical proposals for new offers for the aerostructure programmes for military or civil aircraft. /p pIt is a dynamic area that applies leading digital product innovation with 3DExperience and works in an AGILE methodology, adding value within structural design solutions and troubleshooting issues in production and service. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and validate composites/hybrids components and assemblies, optimised for weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements while ensuring the highest safety of the product. /li liDefine and architect airframe components. /li liDocument components for manufacturing and mechanical assembly. /li liPlan and follow up structural design deliverables. /li liSpecify components for purchasing. /li liEngage in concurrent engineering with manufacturing, structural analysis, systems installations, structural tests, materials and processes, and services supportability engineers. /li liInterface with external customers, partners and suppliers, and communicate with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and project follow‑up meetings. /li /ul h3Career Development /h3 ul liWork directly on advanced DDMS solutions applying 3DExperience.
