ppAn opportunity for a bMission Systems SW Engineer /b has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The Mission System SW Department develops advanced onboard software designed to manage inputs and data from various sensors, weapons, avionics, and datalinks, providing an enriched tactical picture to pilots and operators on the aircraft. The selected candidate will join an experienced, highly motivated and cooperative team where technical knowledge is key to understanding diverse system needs. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to develop a professional career within military platforms, participating directly in the definition, implementation and evolution of future mission systems software architectures. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, implement, and verify software components to be delivered into development, integration rigs, and aircraft environments. /li liEvolve the overall software and deployment architecture to adapt current mission software products to new customer requirements. /li liIntegrate developed software into specific aircraft mission computers along with the operating systems and drivers provided by equipment suppliers. /li liExecute software verification activities, including unit testing, software/hardware integration, black‑box testing and non‑regression testing. /li liCollaborate within an Agile framework to ensure the complete Software Development Cycle meets quality standards and project timelines. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liEducation: Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline. /li liExperience: At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience across the full Software Development Cycle (Requirements, Design, Implementation,
