The role is critical to the delivery of production services, enabling business growth and ensuring security and compliance. /p h3Eligible Locations /h3 pApplications are accepted only from candidates residing in the UK, Spain, Germany or Romania. Those applying from outside these areas will not be considered. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead design, implementation, and optimisation of AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure. /li liDefine and execute a cloud strategy that supports scalability, cost efficiency, and business continuity, aligned to corporate objectives. /li liMentor and lead teams of DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure Engineers, driving professional growth and high performance. /li liOversee operational excellence: compliance, monitoring, alerting, incident response, automation, 24/7 stability, capacity planning, change management, and performance tuning. /li liCollaborate with Security to ensure compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, Cyber Essentials, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans. /li liPartner with Development, Product, Security and Business teams to understand and deliver business requirements. /li liManage vendor relationships with cloud providers and other third‑party vendors, scanning for new products to enhance return on investment. /li liContribute to budget development, management and reporting of infrastructure operations.



/li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liSenior leadership experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on cloud services. /li liExperience managing multiple cloud operations teams across technologies, geographies and requirements. /li liStrong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) and GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, etc.). /li liLeadership proficiency in DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD, automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (e.g., Terraform). /li liExpertise in monitoring, logging and alerting processes and tooling. /li liOrganised with the ability to manage details while keeping the big picture. /li liStrong communication skills, able to engage across organisational levels and lead improvement discussions. /li liCollaboration oriented; ensures all groups are informed and understand processes. /li liSelf‑learner with an inquisitive mindset. /li liResourceful and solution‑focused, making practical considerations for all stakeholders. /li liProblem‑solving mindset with strong analytical abilities. /li liBachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field; AWS Certified Solutions Architect or GCP Professional Cloud Architect preferred. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pAs an equal opportunity employer, we are committed to building and nurturing a workplace where every individual feels valued and belongs.
