Complete a variety of accounting and technical functions pertaining to the company’s coinsurance and reinsurance risks. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure statutory and taxation compliance requirements within LSM, LMIE, LSSL Spanish branches are met. /li liWork closely with the Finance Department in the head office to ensure consistency, develop and maintain practices, and drive ongoing improvement of business practices and performance. /li liCollaborate with internal departments, providing excellent service, support and advice where applicable. /li liCoordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors, brokers, insurance companies, and public administration to provide reporting, documentation, and tax information. /li liPrepare month‑end journals and balance sheet reconciliations for accounts including VAT, Fixed Assets and Intercompany accounts (future role). /li liHandle banking treasury activities: process treasury related journals at month‑end, reconcile balance sheet accounts, set up standing orders and manual payments, including international payments. /li liPrepare and file VAT documentation monthly and keep abreast of developments in VAT regulations to ensure compliance.



/li liSubmit withholding tax documentation to Rosclar and obtain residence certificates to avoid double taxation for international reinsurance payments. /li liManage the corporation tax process for the branch and keep abreast of regulatory developments to ensure compliance. /li liAssist with the submission of annual regulatory obligations and process treaty distribution for translation to Spanish regulators. /li liAct as liaison during the monthly closing process and dialogue with coinsurers, reinsurers, and underwriters to respond to account questions. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Business Administration, Economics, Insurance/Actuarial Science, Engineering, Law, or equivalent professional experience. /li liExperience in insurance operations or related financial services operations. /li liDirect experience in relevant insurance lines (Casualty, PI, DO, FI, property energy, etc.) and with the local Spanish market preferred. /li liExperience managing teams and vendor/3rd‑party relationships. /li /ul h3Hard Skills / Technical Knowledge /h3 ul liInsurance operations: policy administration, claims workflows, underwriting processes, premium collection and commissions. /li liExperience with GDPR compliance and operational impacts (consent management, DPIAs, breaches). /li liFamiliarity with core insurance systems and CRM, billing systems (Power BI, Excel). /li liFluent in Spanish and English. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
