This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community in a beautiful setting, with convenient access to Valencia city and the Mediterranean coast. /p pb Key Responsibilities /b /pulli Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons at KS4 and KS5. /lili Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations. /lili Assess, monitor and report on students’ progress. /lili Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs and abilities. /lili Maintain high expectations for achievement, behaviour and participation. /lili Provide constructive feedback and additional support where required. /lili Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Mathematics department. /lili Contribute to the wider academic life of the school. /lili Maintain high standards of safeguarding and student welfare. /li /ul pb Candidate Requirements /b /pp Applicants MUST have: /pulli Qualified Teacher Status, a PGCE OR equivalent recognised teaching qualification. /lili A relevant degree or strong academic background in Mathematics. /lili Experience teaching Mathematics at KS4 and KS5. /lili Experience preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations. /lili Strong knowledge of the British National Curriculum. /lili The right to live and work in Spain.
/lili Native Level English /li /ul p Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and suitably qualified early-career teachers. Spanish language skills are not required. /p pb Salary and Benefits /b /pp The salary is €29,500–€31,000 per year. New teachers begin on €29,500, with opportunities for annual increases through the school’s loyalty pay scale.
