Vodafone is developing global SDN-based automation solutions for Transport and Transmission networks, increasingly enhanced with AI / GenAI capabilities to improve decision-making, reduce manual effort, and accelerate innovation. /ppThe Automation Agile Product Owner is responsible for owning and driving the AI-enabled automation roadmap. Acting as a key cross-functional interface, the role bridges business, engineering, and data teams to maximise the value delivered by Agile development teams. The role ensures alignment between product vision, stakeholder needs, and execution, with a focus on delivering scalable AI-driven SDN automation solutions /ph3What you’ll do /h3pKey accountabilities and decision ownership: /pulliDefine and own the product vision, roadmap, epics, and release scope for AI/GenAI SDN automation solutions. /liliManage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities, dependencies, and delivery capacity. /liliTranslate business, operational, and user needs into clear user stories, features, and backlog items. /liliLead stakeholder engagement across product, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding. /liliDrive use case definition and value realisation for AI-enabled automation (e.g. assurance, optimisation, anomaly detection /li /ulh3Who you are /h3pCore competencies, knowledge and experience: /pulliStrong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum) and product ownership practices. /liliSolid knowledge of SDN and transport network technologies in a multi-vendor environment. /liliStrong AI / Gen AI experience in Automation (LLMs, prompt engineering, and real‑world applications) and /or relevant certifications /liliExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams. /liliExperience in backlog management, requirement engineering,
