ph3Engineering Manager – Application Enablement /h3 pAs an Engineering Manager for the Application Enablement team, you will lead experienced engineers building shared infrastructure underlying Perk's web, iOS, and Android platforms. You will manage a team that spans multiple platforms, partner with staff engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high‑impact foundational work across synthetic monitoring, SDLC acceleration, and contextual notifications. /p pYour role focuses on shaping technical direction, balancing immediate delivery with long‑term sustainability, and leading people and technology to ship faster and with greater confidence. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAccountable for delivery and personal development of your team(s). /li liAct as servant leader, adapting leadership style to each engineer. /li liSupport performance and career growth through coaching and mentoring. /li liChampion technical excellence, ensuring the team builds systems that meet organizational standards. /li liFacilitate effective collaboration, resolving challenges in architecture and implementation. /li liDevelop a long‑term strategy and roadmap in partnership with Product Manager. /li liPlan highly available, scalable features and coordinate recruitment and growth. /li liUse metrics to deliver a stellar experience for customers. /li liUnderstand how engineering impacts product and business needs. /li liProvide stakeholder feedback within Builders and occasionally to wider business.



/li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul li5–8 years of experience managing software engineers. /li liManaged 8–10 software engineers, overseeing larger teams and delegation. /li liTechnical background with hands‑on engineering experience. /li liStrong people‑management skills creating positive work culture. /li liExperience designing processes and systems for larger teams. /li liProblem‑solving skills at both technical and organisational levels. /li liEffective performance reviews that celebrate achievements and guide growth. /li liPragmatic focus on simplicity, efficiency, and performance. /li liAbility to adapt quickly to changing environments. /li liExperience with, or enthusiasm for, AI‑augmented workflows and agentic development. /li /ul h3Work Environment /h3 pWe practice an IRL‑first approach, meeting in‑person at least three days a week. The position requires you to be within commuting distance of our hubs. For certain roles we can assist with relocation from anywhere worldwide.
