ppIRB Barcelona seeks to recruit a Health and Safety Section Head, part of the People and Academic Affairs Department, to oversee its in-house Health and Safety Service and to develop a safe working environment in compliance with legal regulations, while promoting a strong culture of health and safety awareness across the institute. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the in-house Health Safety Service in collaboration with the external prevention service. /li liDraft, update and monitor Health Safety documentation. /li liOrganize, coordinate, and monitor risk assessments, regular site inspections, emergency procedures, and the dissemination of information to all employees. /li liCoordinate medical check‑ups. /li liPlan and monitor annual Health Safety actions. /li liMonitor, investigate, and report on workplace accidents and incidents. /li liLiaise with relevant authorities, organize and conduct audits of the Health Safety System. /li liManage and coordinate Health Safety training. /li liProvide expert advice, information, and assessment on Health Safety issues. /li liCoordinate Occupational Risk Prevention activities. /li liAssess and oversee the Health Safety Committees.



/li liOversee the facility's biosafety management, ensuring adherence to established protocols, regulatory compliance, and promotion of a safe working environment. /li liDevelop and maintain the Quality Management System, design and improve processes related to quality, and maintain policies, manuals, procedures, and records. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pExperience: at least 5 years in the role. /p h3Knowledge /h3 ul liDegree in Risk Prevention, Science or related degree. /li liOccupational risk prevention degree or Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, with all three specialisations (Security in the workplace, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics, and Psychosociology) preferably with a scientific university degree (biology, chemistry, etc.). /li /ul h3Skills /h3 pUser of MS Office tools.
