ph3Job Description /h3 h3The Opportunity /h3 pWe are looking for a Global Fire and Explosion Safety Specialist to join our team as Program Lead. /p pIn this role, you will lead and manage our Fire and Explosion Safety Program, ensuring compliance with internal, industry, and regulatory standards across our general facilities. /p pThis is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our safety culture and operational excellence. /p pWe are considering different locations for this role in Spain (Córdoba, Bilbao, Madrid, Zaragoza). /p h3How you’ll make an impact /h3 ul liLead the BU Fire and Explosion Safety Program, including related processes and technical guidance. /li liAssess and safeguard Fire and Explosion prevention systems on BU TR facilities, tools, and equipment. /li liDevelop and implement cross-functional strategies for Fire and Explosion safety measures and standards. /li liConduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies for Fire and Explosion safety. /li liProvide training and develop technical competencies in Fire and Explosion safety at local sites. /li liDefine requirements for Fire and Explosion safety during purchasing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. /li liCoordinate with internal Real Estate projects to ensure compliance with legal and internal safety requirements. /li liInvestigate Fire and Explosion incidents, determine root causes, and prepare corrective and preventive action plans. /li /ul h3Your background /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, with a specialization in Fire and Explosion safety.
/li liOver 8 years of experience in relevant functions. In-depth understanding of EN (EU) Fire and Explosion Regulations, SEVESO, ATEX, British Standards, API, and NFPA requirements. /li liExperience in defining and conducting Fire and Explosion safety inspections and audits. /li liProven ability to collaborate with insurance companies on Fire and Explosion prevention. /li liStrong technical safety knowledge and experience in risk review for capital projects related to Fire and Explosion safety. /li liWillingness to travel globally (10‑20% time), and fluency in English. /li /ul h3More about us /h3 pOur flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow. /p pOur employee benefit programs are tailored to each country, depending on location of employment and job grade.
