In this role you join the Eurofighter Avionics Joint Team (AJT) in Warton to support the integration and design of avionics systems, with a focus on communications data links. You will work within a multicultural, multinational team across partner companies to deliver system-level design, interfaces and safety considerations. The position offers a long-term international assignment with meaningful impact on Eurofighter avionics integration and interoperability. You will collaborate across disciplines to shape and sustain essential communications capabilities in a high-profile defense program.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead or contribute to the creation of Level 2 design documentation (functional requirements, interfaces, protocols) for data link and communications systems.
• Support DOORS requirements management, traceability, and hazard analysis.
• Contribute to system architecture and high-level design for avionics subsystems (e.g., data links, Armament Control, Navigation, Displays).
• Assist with system safety, avionics clearances, and problem reporting/analysis.
• Collaborate with international teammates and stakeholders to ensure contractual interoperability and design alignment. xqbhyrx
• Support test requirements and analysis in the context of avionics integration and issue resolution.
Responsabilidades
• 3+ years in Systems Engineering (Avionic Systems preferred)
• Experience with front-end development processes in EF or similar projects (advantage)
• Knowledge of DOORS/RMT, ICDTool, Statemate, PCMS or similar tools
• Independent and responsible team member in a multinational environment
• Good written and spoken English
• Understanding of data link and communications systems in avionics
• Knowledge of system safety, hazard analysis and interface definition
