ppJob ID: | Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U. /ppThe AMZL Trans Volume Intra-Week Area Manager (AM) ensures positive interactions between Amazon Delivery Stations, third-party companies, Central Operations and delivers on operational objectives. Through the use of tools, management of a team, and coordination with various partners. This AM role requires the skills to decide independently which actions to take for short term decisions and limited supervision for medium long term. These decisions impact the EU AMZL capacity management, Speed and productivity, influencing 24HR, 48HR and Same Day (SD) Out For Delivery (OFD) WAPE.br/Area Managers in AMZL Trans Vol will lead a team of up to 20 associates on shift, and +6 direct reports, serving as problem solver and primary escalation point for the team and other stakeholders. They will also provide periodic updates to Program Managers about status of the operation or any major escalations, maintaining a full understanding of workflow and daily metrics goals, allocate labor and train new associates, drive continuous improvement, and enforce SOP compliance and SLAs response times. /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop and maintain strong communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information across Amazon teams /liliProviding visibility on actions and reasoning to earn trust from stakeholders. /liliRemaining impartial to focus on the bigger picture without bias /liliScale services, tools, and processes that will enable the business growth in Trans Vol footprint, complexity, and geographic dispersion while still maintaining a high bar for the customer experience /liliWork closely with the Supply Chain team in areas including Sales and Operations Planning, DSPM an Ops leadership to align and execute the strategy at DS and country level. /liliWork with technical and business teams to optimize planning, execution, process improvement and track progress against goals /liliIdentify, assess and mitigate risks,



drive resolution of critical issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, proposing corrective actions to keep initiatives moving forward /liliMaintain and report up to date and accurate KPIs, management reports and analysis (DBR/WBR/Intra-week reports) /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's degree or above in Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or experience in problem solving and data analytics /liliExperience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar /liliExperience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities /liliSpeak, write, and read fluently in English /liliKnowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience with operations/supply chain /liliExperience with SQL and Python scripting /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
