For us diversity is a real value, and we encourage in connecting different perspectives with respect. /ppDiscover more about our culture and approach here: /ph3Job Description Summary /h3pThe PPA Originator will be responsible for originating, structuring, negotiating, and executing long-term Route‑to‑Market (RtM) agreements and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with corporate customers, utilities, traders, and other energy off‑takers across Europe. The role covers the full commercial lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and developing customer relationships to negotiating bankable agreements that support renewable energy projects. Reporting to the Head of European Origination, the successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company’s commercial footprint and enabling the successful commercialization of wind, solar, and battery energy storage (BESS) assets. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliIdentify, develop, and manage new business opportunities with corporate customers, utilities, energy traders, and other off‑takers across European markets. /liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with key market participants, including CI customers, financial institutions, utilities, trading houses, public sector organizations, and strategic partners. /liliLead commercial discussions, workshops,
and client meetings to develop market opportunities and originate new PPA and RtM transactions. /liliStructure tailored Route‑to‑Market and Power Purchase Agreement solutions for renewable energy assets, including wind, solar PV, and BESS. /liliLead the negotiation of commercial terms and coordinate the execution of PPAs from origination through contract signing. /liliWork closely with Finance, Legal, Development, Technical, and Risk teams to develop commercially attractive, bankable, and investable transaction structures. /liliMonitor market developments, pricing trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and optimize commercial strategies. /liliSupport the continuous improvement of origination processes, commercial models, and market intelligence. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline. /lili3–5 years of experience in renewable energy, energy trading, energy markets, or a related commercial role. /liliStrong understanding of European electricity markets, market participants, and energy market fundamentals. /liliProven knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Route‑to‑Market (RtM) agreements, Guarantees of Origin (GOs), and renewable energy commercialization. /liliExperience in commercial negotiations, deal structuring, and contract management. /liliGood understanding of commodity markets, risk management principles, and electricity pricing mechanisms. /liliStrong analytical, financial, and commercial skills, with the ability to develop innovative customer solutions. /liliExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with a customer‑focused mindset.
/liliAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively in cross‑functional, international teams. /liliFluent in English (written and spoken).
