Current emphasis is on the genetic basis for common and complex diseases and on the functional mechanism, architecture and evolution of gene networks, studied by experimental perturbation. Nature Genetics is looking for an Associate or Senior Editor to join the editorial team and cover the broad area of cancer research. Members of the editorial team participate in all aspects of the editorial process including manuscript selection and managing the peer review process, commissioning Reviews, Comments and News Views articles, and writing for the journal.



Nature Genetics editors also organize and attend conferences, visit laboratories, and maintain close contact with the international scientific community. For external candidates, the position will be based in the Springer Nature offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Madrid, Milan, or Pune.
