The group possesses all the necessary resources for the discovery of new targets and the preclinical development of pharmacological compounds, as demonstrated by the development of the MY10 compound for alcohol use disorders. It has participated in international consortia for the discovery of biomarker panels to differentiate between stages of cognitive impairment and various types of dementia (Nature Aging 2(11): , 2022). Since 2021, it has been a member of the National Research Network on Addictions in Primary Care (RIAPAd) within the RICORs program of the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII),
