ppAs a bChief Engineer Reliability /b (m/f/d), you will define and execute the reliability engineering strategy for the onshore wind turbine fleet of Nordex. Working within the Engineering, Technical Leads organization, you will drive design improvements, strengthen reliability standards, and support the integration of proven engineering practices across products and upgrades. This role contributes to improving turbine performance, reliability, and operational effectiveness throughout the fleet. /p h3YOUR TASKS /h3 ul liDefine and execute the reliability engineering strategy for the onshore wind turbine fleet /li liEstablish Design for Reliability (DfR) principles across new products, upgrades, and engineering development activities /li liAct as technical authority for critical turbine components including drivetrain, blade, and electrical systems /li liDrive the adoption of high-reliability engineering standards where technically and economically appropriate /li liLead design improvements to eliminate recurring failures and increase fleet reliability performance /li liEstablish a structured feedback loop between field operations and engineering teams to support continuous improvement /li liApply offshore wind reliability learnings, predictive maintenance practices, and advanced condition monitoring solutions to onshore turbine development /li /ul h3YOUR PROFILE /h3 ul liMaster’s degree or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable qualification /li liMore than 10 years of experience in offshore wind energy with a focus on reliability-related engineering roles /li /ul pNordex offers a range of attractive benefits – here’s a selection of what you can look forward to.
