ph3Company Overview /h3 pICF is a consultancy firm that partners with governments, public agencies and international institutions to solve complex problems and improve the quality of life worldwide. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pProject Finance Controller – Europe Asia Business Management team (Permanent, Spain). /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Project Financial Management Analysis /h3 ul liMonitor, analyse and interpret project financial performance in collaboration with Project Managers and Directors. /li liConduct project re‑forecasting and cost‑to‑complete reviews to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition. /li liProvide actionable insights, variance analysis and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision‑making. /li liPresent monthly financial performance, risks and opportunities to Senior Leadership. /li /ul h3Project Setup, Maintenance Compliance /h3 ul liReview contracts (including inter‑company agreements) and set up projects in the ERP system following contract terms, SOX regulations and internal controls. /li liMaintain project financial data throughout the lifecycle—set‑up, amendments, variations and closure—ensuring completeness and compliance. /li liSupport the maintenance of contract documents, agreements and variation orders. /li /ul h3Revenue Recognition Reporting /h3 ul liEnsure correct and consistent revenue recognition across all projects, aligned with accounting standards and internal policies. /li liPrepare and deliver management reporting packages (MIS), including revenue, cost analysis, margin movements and detailed commentary. /li /ul h3Billing, Cash Flow WIP Management /h3 ul liPrepare timely and accurate client billing in coordination with Project Managers. /li liMonitor aged debts,
collaborate with Treasury on collections and support actions to reduce WIP and overdue balances. /li liContribute to cash flow estimates and forecasting. /li /ul h3Accruals Month‑End Close /h3 ul liCalculate and post monthly subcontractor and freelancer accruals, ensuring completeness and correct cut‑off. /li liSupport month‑end close activities including reconciliations and preparation of financial reports. /li /ul h3Project Governance PM Support /h3 ul liLead or participate in project financial reviews to identify risks, required write‑downs, claims handling and necessary corrective actions. /li liTrain and support Project Managers on financial project management processes, best practices, and compliance requirements. /li liBuild strong working relationships with PMs and internal stakeholders to ensure high‑quality financial governance. /li /ul h3Controls, Audits Process Improvement /h3 ul liSupport internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and evidence. /li liContribute to the development and implementation of financial controls, checklists and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen process efficiency and compliance. /li /ul h3Additional Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform ad‑hoc duties and analysis as assigned to support business needs. /li /ul h3Basic Requirements /h3 ul liFinance qualification (MBA, M.Com, CMA or equivalent). /li li4‑5 years of relevant experience in project finance,
