ph3Summary /h3 pThe Inspector I performs basic inspection work in petroleum, petrochemical, gas, grain, oils and fats terminals and refineries; also performs inspection work on board barges and ships following industry standards and the procedures published by API, Fosfa, Gafta and Saybolt. /p h3Duties Responsibilities /h3 ul liThe Inspector I shall assist other inspectors from the department and Account Managers in responsibility duties of the location. /li liInspectors I, are responsible for the efficient work within the location, so that can meet client needs accurately and in time. /li liInspectors I, may work at different locations and on offshore operations as requested by the company. /li liThe functions to be developed by the Inspectors, are mainly included within the port activity and sometimes offshore on high seas, so that the development and fulfillment of the functions of the description of each Job, including the specific service of standby, constitute a function of the job and are carried out within the ordinary working day, as long as they are carried out as effective working time. /li liIs responsible for and takes care of running the operation at the lowest possible costs, while meeting the requirements for safety, quality of service and maintenance of assets. Inspector I must ensure full cooperation with his department and his Managers on all assignments. /li liMust follow all company procedures as established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories, including but not limited to HSE Manual, Accounting Policies Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures, Ethics Policy, Saybolt Compliance Code, etc. Must keep himself updated and aware of all updates and act accordingly. /li liInspectors I,
reports directly to Inspection Account Managers. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liA high school diploma or equivalent (general education degree). /li li1 year as an Inspector or related experience. /li liGood verbal and written knowledge of local language and English. /li liProficient user of MS Office. /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills Attributes /h3 pAll kind of possible samplings measurements. Capable to perform any kind of Inspection vessel and shore with a supervision of a higher level Inspector or Account Manager. /p h3Other Information /h3 ul liInspectors must have a vehicle in good, safe operating condition that can be used on the job for both personal and sample transportation in all ambient weather conditions.
