Our client, a leading general provider of solar mounting and tracking solutions, is seeking an Engineering Manager to join its Project Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven engineering professional to support the successful delivery of utility‑scale solar projects worldwide, playing a key role in the installation of gigawatts of solar capacity while contributing to the global transition toward clean energy. The role offers excellent exposure to the rapidly growing Solar PV sector and provides a platform to further develop technical, leadership, and project management expertise within a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering analysis and structural calculations for solar mounting and tracker systems in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Prepare and review construction documentation, including plans, assembly drawings, shop drawings, and installation details for ground‑mounted solar projects.
- Participate in quality control activities, including document reviews, design verification, and First Article Inspections (FAIs).
- Review project documentation to identify technical risks, potential challenges, and opportunities for optimization.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, design standards, technologies, and engineering methodologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, consultants, and permitting authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and validate innovative engineering solutions to optimize structural designs, improve efficiency, and reduce overall system costs while maintaining quality and reliability.
- Support commercial and business development teams with preliminary engineering assessments, material take‑offs, and responses to technical inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret, and apply technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering reports.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented, resourceful, and proactive problem solver.
- Working proficiency in English, Italian and Spanish is required to support collaboration with regional stakeholders, clients, and project teams. xqbhyrx
