You’ll handle complex releases, automate processes, and work closely with pipeline devs, Production TDs, site teams, and vendors to ensure dependable software delivery for film production. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwn the support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the global Launchpad CI/CD framework to enable fast, reliable releases. /li liExecute and optimize releases of internal and third‑party software to production environments worldwide. /li liPartner with technical teams across studio sites and external vendors/partners to enhance release efficiency, scalability, and user experience. /li liDevelop deep expertise in the release framework and proactively identify areas for enhancement. /li liFoster strong, proactive communication channels with developers, TDs, vendors,



and stakeholders to align on priorities and resolve issues swiftly. /li liBuild automation tools and scripts that eliminate manual toil and reduce technical overhead for development and production teams. /li liMonitor user feedback, satisfaction, and workflow pain points; drive data‑informed improvements to the CI/CD ecosystem. /li liCollaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to assess, integrate, and deploy changes that strengthen studio‑wide systems. /li liCreate clear documentation, guides, and training materials; deliver hands‑on training to developers and TDs on new tools and processes. /li liResearch emerging technologies, evaluate their potential, and champion innovative enhancements to our release pipeline. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul li5+ years in VFX or animation industries. /li li3+ years in the animation industry. /li liHigh English level. /li liSpanish desirable. /li liBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer graphics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in technical/creative environments. /li liStrong verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset. /li liProven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting. /li liSolid understanding of CI/CD principles, pipelines, and best practices.



/li liHands‑on experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab, and/or GitHub) and containerization (Docker). /li liProficiency in Linux environments and command‑line workflows. /li liStrong Python scripting skills for automation and tooling. /li liExperience building and compiling open‑source software projects. /li liTrack record of debugging compile‑time, runtime, and configuration issues in complex systems. /li /ul h3Preferred / Bonus Qualifications /h3 ul liFamiliarity with plugin or pipeline development in major DCC tools (e.g., Maya, Houdini, Nuke). /li liExposure to additional languages like Rust, C++, or similar. /li liKnowledge of modern toolkits and platforms such as Cmake, Qt, Kubernetes, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or other cloud/container orchestration systems. /li liExperience supporting multi‑site, general production environments. /li /ul pSkydance is a diversified media company founded by David Ellison in 2010 to create high quality, event‑level entertainment for global audiences.
