ph3Job Description /h3 pAn opportunity for a Training Devices Project Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). /p pThe selected candidate will join the Transport Mission Training Aids Team, which is responsible to lead the execution on time, on cost, on quality of all the tasks related to the definition, purchase, development, validation, acceptance, qualification and delivery to the customer of LTA and MRTT simulators. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pThe jobholder will be responsible for the definition, development and delivery of LTA and MRTT simulators to our customers. The jobholder will also support communications with the Customer, Internal Organizations and Suppliers, including discussions related to the definition of the contractual obligations to be delivered to the Customer as well as the definition of the contractual documents with suppliers. /p pThese activities also include the preparation of the Data Package (DP) and Software Package (SWP) and the definition and purchase of Parts Equipment (PE) and Spares. This involves the use of Airbus configuration and documentation tools and the participation in the Configuration, Modifications and Service Bulletins Committees to analyze impacts on the on-going projects and if so, launch the appropriate activities. /p pThe jobholder ensures the provision of deliverables from all the Stakeholders OTOCOQ. The jobholder has full responsibility for the delivery of the final product to the Customers ensuring the proper identification and control of Risks and Opportunities and guarantees accurate reporting of key performance indicators. /p pIn addition: /p ul liThe jobholder prepares technical offers and provides the associated cost to Programmes Representatives. /li liMonitors and drumbeats the activities to ensure that the project is being carried out within the expected performance indicators and customer’s requirements.



The jobholder also facilitates the liaison between all the Airbus areas involved in the project, suppliers and end-customer. /li liThe jobholder acts as point of contact with the end-customer and suppliers for technical topics related with the project execution. /li liThe activities associated with the position take place within an international framework. /li liOutputs: Technical/Logistic/Management requirements documents, cost calculations control, plans/directives, schedules, statement of work documents, risk mitigation plans, project status reports KPIs definition, and support to offers to Customers. In addition, Project Manager is the Authority to sign the Technical documents approval, Minutes of Meetings with internal Stakeholders, Suppliers and Customer and Acceptance documents for the product. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liEducational Qualifications: University degree in Engineering, Aeronautics or equivalent. /li liExperience: 5 years’ experience in aeronautical company. /li liTechnical knowledge: Training Aids design and development experience.
