Your Mission

As Assistant Technical Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our hotel operates flawlessly. Working closely with the Technical Services Manager, you will help ensure the proper maintenance of all facilities, support the day-to-day technical operation, and guarantee that every corner of The Standard Ibiza meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and guest experience.

We are looking for a solution-oriented, organized professional with a passion for hotel maintenance, capable of combining technical expertise, operational leadership, and a genuine attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Assist in managing the hotel's physical infrastructure, including equipment, HVAC and refrigeration systems, swimming pools, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems.
- Help ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility safety standards.




- Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance work orders, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
- Oversee guest rooms, public areas, and restaurants to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
- Support the Technical Services Manager in developing and implementing the hotel's preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans.
- Review the condition of equipment and facilities together with the department manager and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist in the management and control of inventory materials, spare parts, and technical equipment.
- Support the management, training, and development of the technical team.

Qualifications

- Technical training in Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- Previous experience in maintenance departments, preferably within hotels or other fast-paced, high-standard environments.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands under pressure.
- A proactive, hands-on, and solutions-driven approach with strong attention to detail.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to provide operational leadership.
