As a Senior Software Developer on the GridBeats Platform team, you will help unify GridBeats applications into a coherent architecture and promote strong engineering practices. You’ll design and deliver backend services, APIs, and reusable components that enable cross-team integration across embedded, middleware and cloud environments. You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with architects, product owners, QA and systems engineers, and drive maintainability, reliability and security across the portfolio. This role focuses on boosting grid resilience through software and shaping a scalable, standards-driven development culture.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for the GridBeats portfolio
• Implement backend services, integration layers, libraries, and device interfaces
• Deliver well-documented, maintainable code aligned with product requirements
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and systems engineers to translate requirements into solutions
• Integrate embedded software, firmware, middleware, backend systems and analytics platforms
• Develop and maintain APIs, data mappings, and interface implementations

Responsabilidades
• Proven software engineering experience with hands-on development
• Strong knowledge of software design principles and patterns
• Experience with Java, C++, C#, Python, and/or JavaScript
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards in industrial/embedded contexts
• Experience with large-scale, distributed or embedded systems
• Experience integrating embedded systems with backend/cloud platforms
• Experience defining or implementing APIs, interfaces, and data models
• Experience with system evolution, migration strategies and technical debt management
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices and modern toolchains
• Understanding of cybersecurity architecture and secure software design
• Experience in industrial, embedded, or safety-critical environments (desirable)
