ph3bHR Administration and Payroll Specialist /b /h3 pThis position is part of the Europe HR Shared Services function, a collaborative team of on‑site and remote professionals supporting employees and managers across 16 European countries. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage monthly payroll processing for Italy and Spain in line with payroll calendars and local compliance requirements. /li liPrepare and provide payroll instructions to external payroll providers, review results, and validate accuracy. /li liEnsure payroll operations are delivered accurately, timely, and in compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements. /li liCoordinate payroll‑related tax, social security, pension, and insurance activities and payments. /li liConduct payroll audits and validation checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance. /li liResolve complex issues in partnership with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors. /li liBuild and maintain strong working relationships with payroll providers and internal stakeholders. /li liMonitor vendor performance and service level commitments. /li liEnsure compliance with applicable data privacy and data protection requirements, including GDPR. /li liHandle highly confidential employee and payroll information with discretion and professionalism. /li liIdentify, document, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. /li liStay current on legal and company requirements related to HR administration and payroll processing for Italy and Spain.



/li liRepresent HR Shared Services in local and integral projects as needed. /li liSupport onboarding and training of new team members on processes, systems, and data flows. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field preferred. /li li2+ years of experience in payroll administration or in a payroll specialist role. /li liFluent written and spoken English, Italian and Spanish are required. /li liAdditional language skills are considered a plus. /li liStrong knowledge of payroll and HR processes, systems, and controls. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office. /li liStrong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. /li liExcellent time management skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines. /li liAbility to troubleshoot inquiries, manage multiple tasks independently, and work effectively under pressure. /li liAbility to collaborate with HR managers and stakeholders across multiple countries. /li /ul pFull time weekly schedule. /p pTravel Required: No /p pShift: Day /p pDuration: No End Date /p pJob Function: HR /p pAgilent Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
