ppNational Geographic is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Non-Linear Scheduler to support the planning and execution of our non-linear programming strategy across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). /p pIn this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining monthly programming plans, coordinating content availability, managing metadata and VOD workflows, and ensuring content launches are delivered accurately and on time across multiple markets. You will work closely with Programming, Operations, Client Services and local market teams to bring National Geographic content to streaming and on-demand audiences. /p pThis is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for television, factual content and content operations who enjoys working at the intersection of programming strategy, content planning and stakeholder collaboration. /p pYou'll join a team grounded in our Disney values — acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration and caring deeply for our Community. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day. /p pThis fixed-term opportunity is available through to the end of the year and is based in Madrid, operating on a hybrid model with four days per week in the office. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain monthly non-linear programming schedules in line with programming strategy and audience objectives. /li liBuild and manage programming plans within scheduling systems, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.



/li liCurate content selections, collections and thematic programming initiatives to maximise audience engagement. /li liIdentify and programme suitable catalogue and library content, ensuring rights and licensing windows are respected. /li liCoordinate content availability, metadata, localisation and delivery timelines across multiple territories. /li liManage VOD ordering processes and support monthly content launches. /li liValidate metadata and ensure content information is accurate and compliant with operational requirements. /li liPartner with local markets, Operations and Client Services teams to ensure successful implementation of programming plans. /li liContribute to programming discussions, content reviews and planning activities. /li liSupport accessibility initiatives and simultaneous multi-market launches. /li /ul h3What We Are Looking For /h3 ul liA first experience in TV Programming, Programming Planning, Content Scheduling or a similar media environment. /li liStrong understanding of content planning, scheduling, rights management and metadata workflows. /li liExperience working with VOD, streaming platforms or non-linear content services.



/li liExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. /li liStrong stakeholder management and communication skills. /li liProven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. /li liProactive and solution-oriented mindset with excellent organisational skills. /li liPassion for television, factual content and audience engagement. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Media, Communications or a related discipline. /li liExperience using scheduling or programming systems such as What's On (WON). /li liUnderstanding of localisation workflows, content delivery and operational processes. /li liStrong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. /li liExperience working with factual, documentary or National Geographic-style content is desirable. /li liFluent English and Spanish. /li /ul pThe Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
