You will oversee all disciplines including civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, controls, and commissioning. You will administer construction and lease contracts for a specific data center site and ensure full compliance. /p pOur Data Center Construction team owns and drives the construction life cycle from constructability, proposal development, bid analysis, award, to managing onsite construction work. You will dive deep into construction management, inspire and think big about the construction program, and support a team delivering efficient electrical and mechanical systems. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liConstruction project management and oversight of construction-related activities for new builds or capital projects at a specific data centre site, including scope, timeline, and budget. /li liDirect interface with general contractors through bidding, award, execution, and project closeout/punch list phases. /li liWork with contractors and vendors to deliver efficient and high-quality project turn-overs. /li liLead negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals. /li liCreate construction project scope and request for proposals.



/li liHandle capital requests/financial analysis of construction work including change orders, purchase orders, and invoicing. /li liManage construction projects aimed at increasing the resiliency of data centres. /li liReview electrical and mechanical designs associated with new data centre construction or optimization of existing data centres. /li liReview construction submittals. /li liConduct construction project quality control, including creation of commissioning plan and support of the commissioning process. /li liRecord and report key construction metrics. /li liLead within the group and support internal and external teams. /li liPosition based on a data centre construction site in Zaragoza/Spain. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering /li liBachelor's degree in Engineering /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in the construction of data centre delivery (design, commissioning and construction), mission critical facilities, or equivalent industrial/manufacturing facility builds. /li liAbility to read, write and speak fluently in English and Spanish. /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
