In this role you ensure that AI systems and data assets are deployed, managed, and governed in compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and enterprise risk frameworks. /p pThis position focuses on building and operationalizing governance structures that enable trust, transparency, and accountability across the bData Lifecycle /b - from collection and storage to processing, sharing, retention, and disposal. As the specialist you will work closely with the AI Solutions Architect to embed compliance guardrails into technical patterns and with the AI Data Transformation Lead to integrate governance into the organization's data culture. /p pbYour responsibilities will include /b /p pAI Governance Risk Management /p ul liDesign and maintain the AI Risk Registry, classifying AI systems by risk tier (EU AI Act alignment). /li liDefine approval workflows, documentation requirements, and lifecycle checkpoints for AI initiatives. /li liMonitor AI model performance for drift, fairness, and compliance post-deployment. /li liServe as the primary point of contact for AI-related regulatory inquiries and audits. /li liConduct AI ethics and bias assessments in collaboration with technical teams. /li /ul pData Governance Lifecycle Management /p ul liOperationalize the Data Governance Council, including agenda setting, decision tracking, and stakeholder coordination. /li liDefine and maintain Critical Data Element (CDE) definitions, ownership, and quality baselines. /li liSupport Master Data Management (MDM) pilot initiatives with governance frameworks and data stewardship models.



/li liDefine governance requirements for metadata, cataloging, and data quality tooling; partner with Data Engineering/IT on platform ownership and operations. /li liEstablish data retention, archival, and disposal policies aligned with GDPR and enterprise compliance standards. /li liCollaborate with IT and Security teams to ensure data access controls, encryption, and audit trails are in place. /li /ul pPolicy Development Compliance /p ul liDraft, review, and maintain AI and Data policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (EU AI Act, GDPR, industry-specific mandates). /li liConduct compliance gap assessments and recommend remediation plans. /li liProvide governance training and awareness programs for business and technical stakeholders. /li liMaintain a governance knowledge base and decision log for transparency and auditability. /li /ul pCross-Functional Collaboration /p ul liPartner with the AI Solutions Architect to validate that technical designs meet governance and compliance requirements. /li liWork with the AI Data Transformation Lead to embed AI Data governance frameworks into capability-building programs and community initiatives. /li liCollaborate with Legal and Information Security teams to ensure alignment on risk management and regulatory obligations. /li liSupport Value Streams and Support Functions with advisory for AI and Data governance. /li liEngage with external auditors, regulators, and industry bodies as AI and Data governance subject matter expert. /li /ul pbSuccess in this role means: /b /p ul liGovernance frameworks adopted across AI and data initiatives /li liAudit-ready compliance evidence and risk posture /li liReduced delivery friction through clear decision rights and guardrails /li liMeasurable improvement in data quality for Critical Data Elements /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul libEducation: /b Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems,
