ppJob Title: RTO Consultant /ppLocation: Madrid (Hybrid 3 days in office with customer deployment) /ppEmployment Type: Full-time Permanent /ppThe individual will be part of the General Optimization group and will participate at senior level in the following activities: /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliImplementation of Real Time Optimization (RTO) applications in Refinery and Petrochemical units, based on AVEVA Process Optimization (APO) software ( ); /liliMaintenance of RTO applications installed base; /liliAct as technical interface with customers, establishing professional relationships to ensure that the project requirements are fully defined and agreed; /liliEnsure that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation and implementation process at minimum. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that arise during project execution; /liliMonitor and control assigned work scope against the project plan, ensure effective change control and identifies risks / opportunities; /liliReviewing process flow diagrams and PIDs, and contributing to process discussions; completing database or schematic changes, implementing complex calculations for data analysis,



manipulating data files and collections lists accurately; /liliAssist and eventually participate on other AVEVA Project Areas. /li /ulh3Essential Qualifications /h3ulliChemical Process and/or Control Engineer with 10+ years of relevant experience in Optimization of Refinery and/or Petrochemical operations and/or planning. /liliExpert user of rigorous refinery process simulation packages or expert in advanced control applied to Refinery and Petrochemical or both. /liliFluency in English language.
