ph3Engineering Manager, Application Enablement /h3 pAs an Engineering Manager for the Application Enablement team you’ll lead a group of experienced engineers building the shared infrastructure that underlies Perk’s web, iOS, and Android platforms. You’ll manage a cross‑platform team, partner with staff engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high‑impact foundational work and help the team ship faster and with greater confidence. /p ul liBeing accountable for the delivery and personal development of your team(s) /li liActing as servant leader to your engineers and adapting your leadership style to the needs of the situation /li liTaking care of individuals' performance in the organization and supporting their journey and ownership of their career through coaching and mentoring where appropriate /li liActing as a technical champion, ensuring that the team has the time and context to build systems that meet the needs and standards of our organization /li liEnabling fluent and effective collaboration within the team, and supporting them through challenges in system architecture, design or implementation /li liDeveloping and evolving a long‑term strategy and roadmap for the team,



working with the Product Manager and aligned with the Tribe mission /li liStrategic team building and planning for delivering highly available features that scale with our growth /li liBeing a key part of the recruitment and growth of the engineering team /li liWorking with the business and team metrics to deliver a 7‑star experience to our customers /li liUnderstanding how engineering impacts product and business needs /li liProviding feedback to stakeholders within Builders (Product and Eng) and sometimes the wider business /li /ul ul li5–8 years of experience managing software engineers /li liManaging a team of 8–10 software engineers /li liTechnical background in software engineering, with hands‑on experience /li liAbility to build an effective work culture that improves team working lives /li liExperience managing larger teams requiring process and delegation systems /liliProblem‑solving mindset to help the team overcome obstacles /li liConduct performance reviews that celebrate achievements and identify growth areas /li liPragmatism and focus on simplicity, efficiency, and performance /li liAdaptability to fast‑changing environments /li liExperience or interest in modern AI‑augmented workflows, including agentic development /li /ul pThis role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs, with an in‑person work requirement of three days a week.
