ppWe are actively looking for a Civil Engineer / Project Manager with maritime engineering experience to join our Valencia office. The successful candidate will manage and lead marine infrastructure planning and design projects for both the public and private sectors. /p h3Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liServe as an Engagement Manager for port and terminal opportunities in the Spanish Market. /li liBe aware of industry technical requirements, trends and opportunities. /li liLead and manage the preparation of design documents, calculation reports, and specifications for waterfront/marine civil site development. /li liPlan, schedule work, and complete assignments within established budgets and timelines. /li liMentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans. /li liDetermine project costs by calculating labour, material, and related costs. /li liCreate feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design and assembling data. /li liConduct site visits and attend client meetings as necessary. /li /ul pReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liUniversity degree in transportation planning, or a degree in civil, marine, or mechanical engineering. /li li15 years’ experience with similar engagements. /li liMinimum of 5 years of project management experience, including managing projects,



budgets, proposal writing, and coordination with clients. /li liExperience in maritime development projects; required. /li liStrong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation). /li liAn entrepreneurial can-do attitude with an ability to work toward solutions. /li liAll new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171. /li /ul h3Working Conditions /h3 pMajority of work is office based.
