This is a senior, consultative role that operates at the intersection of technology and business strategy—engaging at the CISO and executive level while maintaining the technical depth necessary to guide complex Proofpoint deployments. /p pThe TAM serves as a trusted executive consultant, proactively identifying strategic risks, architecting adoption and value realization plans, and coaching customers on aligning Proofpoint capabilities to their broader security and business frameworks. While the role has evolved to lead with strategic advisory, a strong technical and security software foundation remains essential. /p pSuccessful candidates will bring executive presence, commercial acumen, and a proven track record of driving customer outcomes at the enterprise level—combined with deep experience in Linux, messaging, and cloud security environments. Above all, they will have a passion for ensuring a top-quality customer experience. /p h3Your Day-to-Day /h3 h3Strategic Advisory (~50%)
/h3 ul liDrive business outcomes aligned to customer security and organizational goals, ensuring measurable ROI across the Proofpoint investment. /li liServe as a strategic risk advisor—proactively identifying and mitigating renewal, adoption, and security posture risks before they impact the customer. /li liAct as an executive consultant—building trusted relationships at CISO/VP level, delivering strategic insights and forward-looking recommendations. /li liArchitect adoption and value realization plans that ensure customers maximize the full breadth of their Proofpoint deployment. /li liCoach customers on cyber resiliency strategy—aligning Proofpoint capabilities to their broader security framework and organizational risk tolerance. /li liLead executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions, articulating security value in business terms. /li /ul h3Technical Operational (~50%) /h3 ul liMaintain technical expertise across the Proofpoint platform—staying current on product capabilities, integrations, and roadmap. /li liUnderstand the customer’s unique security goals, business requirements, network configuration, and Proofpoint deployment; proactively make recommendations to improve security posture and system performance. /li liAct as a technical advocate to manage and monitor interactions with the Proofpoint technical support team, proactively escalating issues and feature requests. /li liConduct proactive health checks and provide system performance recommendations aligned to the customer’s deployment. /li liProvide insight on industry trends, the security landscape, best practices, and product roadmaps affecting the customer’s business. /li liAssist customers with setting goals and success criteria for their Proofpoint deployment, and provide reports to track key metrics and progress. /li liConduct weekly status calls, monthly management calls, and periodic executive-level business reviews. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Strategic Business Competencies /h3 ul liProven ability to drive measurable business outcomes for enterprise customers—translating technical capabilities into tangible security and business value. /li liExecutive presence and demonstrated experience engaging at C‑suite and VP level, including CISOs, CIOs,
