We have a vast and ever-evolving portfolio of brands primed to play an important part in everything from modernizing infrastructure around the world to enabling the next generation of electric and autonomous vehicles. /p pWe are currently looking for a bSupply Chain Specialist (DRP Planner - Liquid) /bto join us at one of our facilities in Asturias (Spain). /p pThe Supply Chain Specialist / Distribution Requirements Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating inventory flows across distribution centers to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels, service, and cost. This role translates demand signals into time-phased replenishment plans, aligns closely with supply, transportation, and warehouse teams, and continuously improves distribution planning performance. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Distribution Replenishment Planning /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain distribution requirements plans (DRP) for assigned distribution centers and regions. /li liTranslate demand forecasts into replenishment plans, considering lead times, safety stock, lot sizes, and capacity constraints. /li liDetermine optimal inventory levels to achieve service targets while minimizing excess and obsolescence. /li liMonitor stock positions and proactively resolve risks such as shortages, overstock, or slow-moving inventory. /li /ul h3Cross-Functional Coordination /h3 ul liCollaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Transportation, and Warehousing teams. /li liCommunicate priorities, constraints, and changes clearly to stakeholders. /li liSupport SOP / IBP processes with reliable distribution and inventory insights. /li /ul h3Execution Performance Management /h3 ul liTrack and analyse KPIs such as service level, inventory turns, stock-outs, and days of supply.
/li liIdentify root causes of plan deviations and implement corrective actions. /li liSupport continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes, tools, and data quality. /li /ul h3Systems Data Management /h3 ul liUse ERP and planning systems (SAP, OMP, IBP, ...) to create and manage plans. /li liEnsure master data accuracy (lead times, lanes, minimum order quantities, safety stocks). /li liPrepare scenario analyses and what-if simulations for network or demand changes. /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or Engineering. /li li2–5+ years of experience in distribution planning, supply planning, or logistics. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into action. /li liProficiency in ERP/planning systems and advanced Excel. /li liGood understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes. /li liExperience in regional or multi-DC distribution networks. /li liKnowledge of SOP / IBP processes. /li liAPICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent is a plus. /li liExperience in complex, fast-paced, or international supply chains. /li liStrong communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liDetail-oriented with a strategic mindset. /li liAbility to prioritize in a dynamic environment. /li liContinuous improvement mindset. /li /ul pAxalta operates its business in two segments: Performance Coatings and Mobility Coatings, which serve four end markets, including Refinish, Industrial, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, across North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
