As a Senior Data Platform Engineer at Ebury, you will help design, build, and maintain a scalable data platform used across the company. You will work with the Data Platform team to deliver robust data capabilities that enable actionable insights and secure data governance. You’ll explore new technologies to keep our data tools cutting-edge while ensuring data quality and compliance. This hybrid Madrid role offers a chance to influence how we scale data-driven decisions and accelerate integral growth. • Oversee design, development, and maintenance of a robust data platform consumed across the company
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
• Drive innovation by evaluating and applying emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and security
Responsabilidades
• Python proficiency for data transformation and validation
• SQL proficiency for querying and managing large datasets with structured and unstructured sources
• Data engineering and modelling skills (e.g., slowly changing dimensions, dimensional modelling)
• Graph database modelling encouraged
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms; designing and implementing data xqbhyrx solutions at scale
• GCP tools and services experience (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)
• Self-motivation and curiosity; ability to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English (Spanish a plus)
