ph3Overview / Summary /h3 pWe are looking for a Software Support Engineer to work in an international relevant partner in the automotive sector. /p h3Job Title /h3 pSoftware Support Engineer /p h3Location /h3 pValladolid, Spain /p h3Work Regime /h3 pFull-time Hybrid /p h3Overview / Summary /h3 pWe are looking for a Software Support Engineer to work in an international relevant partner in the automotive sector. /p h3Responsibilities and Tasks /h3 ul liLead the design and development of technical requirements for current and future electrical/electronic On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) systems for powertrain applications, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations. /li liAct as the primary interface between Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) controls teams and the Technical Safety Regulatory Compliance (TSRC) department, translating complex regulatory requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications for software and algorithm development. /li liPrepare and deliver technical presentations related to diagnostic systems to the TSRC department, fostering close collaboration with engineering teams. /li liDevelop OBD checklists for new or modified hardware and define robust Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) strategies in compliance with regulatory requirements. /li liCollaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and software teams to analyse, troubleshoot and resolve complex diagnostic system issues.



/li /ul h3Mandatory Requirements /h3 ul liDegree or diploma in Automotive, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field. /li liAt least 5 years of professional experience in the automotive industry. /li liExperience with OBD and SCANTOOL protocols and tools. /li liKnowledge of ECU calibration and validation. /li liBasic knowledge of hybrid powertrains and their critical components, including engine ECU, power electronics, DC/DC converter, high-voltage (HV) battery and On-Board Charger (OBC). /li liStrong ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex systems. /li liGood command of English, with the ability to understand technical documentation and communicate effectively in both written and spoken English. /li /ul h3Complementary Requirements /h3 ul liFrench is also an advantage; /li liKnowledge of ASPICE and AUTOSAR is considered a plus. /li liA valid driving licence is considered a plus. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pImportant: /p ul liOur company does not sponsor work visas or work permits.
