You will play a crucial part in the Ebury onboarding process, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements while maintaining direct contact with clients to effectively communicate our onboarding standards. Your keen analytical skills will be essential as you identify complex ownership structures and financial transaction patterns, allowing you to make informed risk-based decisions on client applications. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing your own portfolio of cases and collaborating with various teams to streamline processes and enhance client experiences. /p pWith a minimum of 2 years of experience in CDD and EDD, you will bring a comprehensive understanding of financial crime typologies and a proactive mindset to our dynamic team. Join us in shaping a secure financial future for our clients while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative environment. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul liSafeguarding Ebury, our existing Clients and prospective Client relationships from financial crime risk - including money laundering, terrorist financing, bribery and corruption, fraud, sanctions risk, tax evasion and reputational risk. /li liPerforming anti-financial crime checks as part of the Ebury Onboarding process for corporate clients in compliance with relevant legislative, regulatory and internal requirements. /li liEIS collaborates with a diverse range of clients, including Trust Corporate Service Providers, MiFID clients, Funds, and SPV's. /li liComprehensive CDD and EDD checks for EIS clients, including the KYC process, identification and analysis of complex ownership structures,
financial statements and transaction patterns. /li liComprehensive knowledge of funds, trusts and SPV's. /li liCDD/EDD analysis across all types of legal entities and business sectors in a variety of jurisdictions with an emphasis on local clients. /li liDirect contact with clients. /li liPresentation of Ebury's onboarding requirements to clients in a clear and compliant manner Identification of red flags and exposure to financial crime risk, including escalation to Compliance and Senior Management where required. /li liMaking risk-based decisions to onboard or reject applications. /li liEfficient management of a personal portfolio of onboarding cases. /li liAbility to function and communicate effectively in a multi-jurisdictional environment. /li liProactive follow-up with clients and sales representatives to ensure timely completion of onboarding analysis. /li liDocumenting client files in a structured format compliant with internal requirements. /li liIdentifying opportunities for improvement within the onboarding process. /li liSupport ad-hoc projects within the department and wider business as require. /li liValidation of checks carried out by other members of the team. /li liSupport in training delivery. /li /ul h3What you’ll need /h3 ul liFull professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). /li liMinimum of 2 years of experience conducting CDD and EDD with corporate clients. /li liUnderstanding of CDD specific to complex entity types, including Funds and Limited Partnerships. /li liAdvanced knowledge of red flags and financial crime typologies relevant to the payments, FX space and Institutional space. /li liProactive, with the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and highpressure environment. /li liHighly organised, with the ability to work to deadlines, multi-task, and prioritise and re-prioritise workload as needed. /li liDiligent, with excellent attention to detail. /li liEffective critical thinking skills, with the ability to find solutions to problems independently. /li liStrong communication skills, both written and verbal including working alongside the Front Office. /li liCo-operative,
