ph3Operator (Combo/Vactor) - Industrial Services or Underground Infrastructure /h3 pAssists setting up, driving and operating a combination unit (sewer cleaner) as well as various other equipment in the performance of daily operations. Operates waste hauling vehicles as directed based on operational needs. /p h3Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liLoad and prepare equipment for upcoming jobs; unload equipment upon arrival; re‑load equipment upon completion of the job and unload equipment upon return to the shop. This includes lifting, carrying and pulling equipment of various size, shape and weight. /li liSet up and operate sewer cleaning equipment, high‑pressure water jet and positive displacement vacuum system trucks. This includes lifting, carrying and pulling hoses of up to 100 lbs., climbing onto the unit (12’ high) for setup and minor maintenance, standing, kneeling or bending for long periods of time. /li liDrive any and all vehicles as needed, including those with manual and automatic transmissions.
/li liSet up and operate various hand‑held and hand‑operated equipment including power tools, shovels, etc. /li liPlace traffic cones and other barricades at job sites; remove manhole covers and examine manholes to determine proper set‑up procedure. /li liLocate line sections to be cleaned and/or inspected, using a map, and determine set‑up procedures. /li liOperate all sewer cleaning equipment with the Taplin fleet. /li /ul h3Knowledge And Skill Requirements /h3 ul liGood communication skills in written and verbal forms. /li liGood organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi‑task. /li liAble to perform job with little or no supervision or instructions. /li liThorough knowledge of company field equipment and its capabilities. /li liClean driving record and insurable in accordance with Company’s current auto insurance carrier. /li liValid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class B minimum with tanker and air brake endorsements. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
