ph3Job Summary /h3 pThe Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating our export shipment function at every stage of the process. This will involve arranging LCL, FCL and air shipments as well as managing transactions and tasks to reduce total transportation costs and meet government requirements. This position may require occasional evening and weekend hours. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage export transactions for projects /li liReceive, review, process international shipments and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete /li liManage the freight quote process /li liWork with freight forwarders to provide timely, accurate and competitive quotes /li liOrganize and file customs commercial documentation /li liConsolidate freight where applicable and negotiate best transportation rates /li liCommunicate shipment status to Project Management, including shortages and schedule changes /li liMaintain communication with suppliers and review export processes /li liProcess logistics requests and ensure timely follow-up /li liDetermine optimal solutions to issues of damaged, misdirected or lost freight /li liManage varied modes of transportation.
