In this role you ensure that AI systems and data assets are deployed, managed, and governed in compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and enterprise risk frameworks. /ppThis position focuses on building and operationalizing governance structures that enable trust, transparency, and accountability across thestrongData Lifecycle /strong- from collection and storage to processing, sharing, retention, and disposal. As the specialist you will work closely with the AI Solutions Architect to embed compliance guardrails into technical patterns and with the AI Data Transformation Lead to integrate governance into the organization's data culture. /ppstrongYour responsibilities will include /strong /ppAI Governance Risk Management /pulliDesign and maintain the AI Risk Registry, classifying AI systems by risk tier (EU AI Act alignment). /liliDefine approval workflows, documentation requirements, and lifecycle checkpoints for AI initiatives. /liliMonitor AI model performance for drift, fairness, and compliance post-deployment. /liliServe as the primary point of contact for AI-related regulatory inquiries and audits. /liliConduct AI ethics and bias assessments in collaboration with technical teams. /li /ulpData Governance Lifecycle Management /pulliOperationalize the Data Governance Council, including agenda setting, decision tracking, and stakeholder coordination. /liliDefine and maintain Critical Data Element (CDE) definitions, ownership, and quality baselines. /liliSupport Master Data Management (MDM) pilot initiatives with governance frameworks and data stewardship models.



/liliDefine governance requirements for metadata, cataloging, and data quality tooling; partner with Data Engineering/IT on platform ownership and operations. /liliEstablish data retention, archival, and disposal policies aligned with GDPR and enterprise compliance standards. /liliCollaborate with IT and Security teams to ensure data access controls, encryption, and audit trails are in place. /li /ulpPolicy Development Compliance /pulliDraft, review, and maintain AI and Data policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (EU AI Act, GDPR, industry-specific mandates). /liliConduct compliance gap assessments and recommend remediation plans. /liliProvide governance training and awareness programs for business and technical stakeholders. /liliMaintain a governance knowledge base and decision log for transparency and auditability. /li /ulpCross-Functional Collaboration /pulliPartner with the AI Solutions Architect to validate that technical designs meet governance and compliance requirements. /liliWork with the AI Data Transformation Lead to embed AI Data governance frameworks into capability-building programs and community initiatives. /liliCollaborate with Legal and Information Security teams to ensure alignment on risk management and regulatory obligations. /liliSupport Value Streams and Support Functions with advisory for AI and Data governance. /liliEngage with external auditors, regulators, and industry bodies as AI and Data governance subject matter expert. /li /ulpstrongSuccess in this role means: /strong /pulliGovernance frameworks adopted across AI and data initiatives /liliAudit-ready compliance evidence and risk posture /liliReduced delivery friction through clear decision rights and guardrails /liliMeasurable improvement in data quality for Critical Data Elements /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ullistrongemEducation: /em /strongBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration (Advanced degrees in Ethics, Risk Management, or Regulatory Compliance are highly valued) /lilistrongemExperience:



/em /strongEssential experience includesstrong5+years in Data Management, Data Governance, or Information Risk roles /strong, with a proven track record of operationalizing enterprise-wide governance frameworks /lilistrongemSkills: /em /strongThe role requires a rare blend of technical literacy and regulatory fluency.
