ph3About the Role /h3 pSales/Purchasing Support Specialist (Full‑time, 12‑month contract) /p pHybrid – 2 to 3 office days in the Barcelona office /p h3What does a Sales/Purchasing Support Specialist role mean at Prinova? /h3 pThe role supports day‑to‑day commercial operations, including order processing, customer and supplier coordination, pricing support, inventory oversight, and CRM administration. The position can be tailored to a candidate’s primary strengths in sales support or procurement, with close collaboration across sales, purchasing, logistics, quality, and finance teams in a fast‑paced, international environment. /p h3What’s in it for you? /h3 ul liPersonal growth, including training and development opportunities /li liDiscretionary Bonus /li liTravel /li /ul h3What to expect? /h3 ul liTake, confirm, and accurately input customer sales orders and purchase orders. /li liSupport purchasing activities for assigned product categories and liaise with integral purchasing teams to ensure timely procurement. /li liPrepare and issue price quotations and assist with tender documents and contract renewals in collaboration with Product Management and the sales team. /li liSupport lead qualification and assist sales representatives with follow‑ups on quotes, opportunities, and sample requests. /li liAct as a key point of contact for customer queries, ensuring timely and professional responses. /li liMonitor customer accounts and coordinate closely with sales, purchasing, logistics, quality, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment. /li liManage product sample requests, including arranging shipments, handling samples in the office, and liaising with warehouses. /li liProvide customers with requested quality documentation and liaise with the Quality team as required.
/li liMonitor shipments and proactively communicate any customer issues, delays, or operational changes to the sales team. /li liReview and monitor stock levels for key accounts to ensure sufficient inventory to meet contractual obligations. /li liMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM system, including opportunities, quotations, and account data. /li liSupport Finance with new customer set‑ups and credit limit updates. /li /ul h3Does this sound like you? /h3 ul liFluency in English is essential; an additional European language is highly desirable. /li liMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a procurement support, commercial support, or similar role, ideally within a fast‑paced or complex supply chain environment. /li liStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret pricing data, evaluate supplier quotations, and support cost analysis initiatives. /li liHigh level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. /li liComfortable working in an environment with changing priorities and ambiguity, demonstrating composure and sound judgement when faced with challenges. /li liExcellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with confidence engaging internal and external stakeholders. /li liAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, formulas, lookups); experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is highly desirable. /li liGood working knowledge of CRM and/or ERP systems and their commercial or operational use. /li liProfessional, proactive, and results‑driven, with strong business and commercial awareness. /li liAble to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to an evolving business environment. /li /ul pInterested?
