SUPO) /b /li /ul h3Why This Role Matters /h3 pThe Assembly Production Team Lead builds and leads a small team to establish the production line for ICEYE’s satellite power systems. /p pThis hands‑on technical leadership role combines deep expertise in power electronics assembly with direct contribution to production, shaping systems that fly in space while growing a high‑performing team. /p h3Outcomes / Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the inspection, assembly and verification of SAR satellite power subsystems including electronic boards, solar panels and batteries. /li liLead and coordinate the daily activities of the production team, ensuring high‑quality and on‑time delivery of satellite mechanical assemblies. Maintain testing and validation procedures for the inspection, verification, assembly and testing of power systems. /li liDevelop, review, and improve work instructions, assembly procedures, tooling, and jigs for subsystem verification operations together with the AIT engineering and production engineering team. /li liTrain and mentor production technicians in mechanical best practices, ensuring compliance with quality standards and IPC/ECSS guidelines. /li liCollaborate closely with Engineering, AIT, and Quality teams to resolve integration challenges and drive design‑for‑manufacturing improvements. Lead the implementation and upkeep of Lean manufacturing and 6S practices across production areas you are responsible for.
Monitor build progress and elevate blockers early, ensuring smooth coordination with planning and supply chain. /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives to increase assembly efficiency, reduce rework, and strengthen process control. /li liSupport root cause analysis and non‑conformance resolution for power‑related issues during integration and testing. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Must Haves /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field. /li li5+ years of experience in aerospace or high‑reliability electronics assembly environments. Knowledge of satellite systems. Proven experience leading a production team. Familiarity with quality standards. /li liComfortable working in a fast‑paced, scaling production environment with tight deadlines. /li liHands‑on mindset — must be willing to go on the floor, solve problems, and support technicians directly. /li liStrong understanding of power systems including PCBAs and batteries. /li liExcellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across functions (Production, Engineering, QA, Planning). /li liStrong process ownership and commitment to continuous improvement. Experience with root cause analysis and non‑conformance handling.
