In this role you lead ABB's global IT project portfolio as a strategic asset, driving alignment with business goals and delivering measurable value. You will guide a cross‑functional team, partner with IT leadership, and simplify governance to empower project managers with clear, actionable data. The role blends strategy, governance, and execution, with a focus on visibility, risk-aware decision making, and continuous improvement. You’ll shape portfolio management practices and contribute to ABB’s broader aim of scalable, value-driven IT delivery.

• Manage ABB's global IT portfolio as a strategic asset with visibility, analysis, and recommendations aligned to business strategy
• Support IT Leadership in portfolio prioritization and decision-making with evidence-based options
• Simplify the governance framework and decision processes while maintaining transparency and control
• Conduct gate reviews and health checks, translating data into actionable leadership recommendations
• Lead and develop a global team of project and portfolio professionals and oversee tools and support
• Implement a structured learning and development program for project managers
• Own Planview as the portfolio management platform,



configuring it for visibility and reduced manual reporting
• Enforce project governance standards and coach managers without adding complexity
• Act as a trusted advisor to IT Leadership, CIO, and global controllers, communicating portfolio status and risks
• Drive continuous improvement in portfolio data capture and presentation to enable agility and value delivery

Responsabilidades
• 15+ years of senior IT portfolio or program/project management experience with large, complex portfolios
• Proven expertise with portfolio tools (Planview, ServiceNow, Clarity, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models and gate-based governance xqbhyrx
• Familiarity with Lean Portfolio Management, SAFe, or equivalent frameworks
• ITIL practices and IT service management knowledge
• Track record of simplifying processes and improving portfolio performance with measurable outcomes
• Ability to drive organizational change and maintain governance standards
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Change leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Professional certifications preferred (PfMP, PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, ITIL 4)
• Fluency in English; comfortable leading distributed, hybrid teams
