As a Staff Software Engineer in the Content Services team, you will help modernize real-time news systems and content pipelines that power Newswires, Factiva, and the Wall Street Journal. You’ll work across AWS, microservices, and data-focused technologies to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, you will shape architecture, tooling, and automation that enable fast, reliable product delivery. This role offers a chance to impact how readers and customers access timely information at scale.

• Design, develop, test and deploy high-quality microservices in a service mesh environment
• Participate in all SDLC phases using Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience deploying microservices in a service mesh
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Experience with multi-region/multi-environment systems, CI/CD, high availability, disaster recovery xqbhyrx
• Secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation
• 5+ years as a backend/Java-focused engineer in Linux
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Agile/Scrum in diverse teams
